Fear?? Yes, We Had Fear
One of Brandon's problems is that he has a lack of fear. It really scares me some times. I will find him scaling the pantry to get something off the top shelf. He will literally be hanging from the shelves. Lately, he has started to use the chairs or stools to get what he wants. Not real safe, but better then the raw climb up the shelf or counter. I have also found him climbing up the wrong side of the stairway. Pictures me finding a child one floor up hanging on to the railing. Very scary for me.
Last night he proved there is a limit to his fearlessness. At swim class they wanted the students to jump off the starting blocks. At first he didn't even want to get up on the thing. On the second attempt he get up, but wouldn't jump. The teacher said that next week they want us to hold their hands while she waits in the water.

Joshua is fearless also except random fears that pop up out of nowhere and make no sense. They don't last long though. The things he doesn't fear though are the ones I kind wish he would. Similar to yours of climbing things. He just has no concept sometimes that he could get hurt and if he wants something there really isn't any way to keep him out.
