A Night at the Races

Last night was the Pinewood Derby at Brandon's school. Lots of fun. Brandon was very excited. It was a much bigger thing than I expected. The track was 56 feet long. They had given out 160 kits. The cars were great. Brandon's car came in 3 for his heat. He was a little disappointed that it was slow. I kept telling him that it was more about having fun. He did get a ribbon and a certificate. VERY COOL. He stood at the finish line and watch every race. We definitely will be doing this again next year. Here are some pictures. Brandon's car is the red one in the middle, to the left.
