The Bold and The Beautiful
Last night Lauren and I went to pick up her new glasses. Unfortunately, she seems to have my eyes. That would be the eyes of a bat. Last year at this time she got her first pair and was already 20/100. The school nurse sent home a sheet this year and said she was 20/100 with the glasses on, so Jim took her in for another exam. She went up another 3 points. NOT GOOD. Of course the problem is that she is falling so fast and our insurance only allows 1 exam a year. Not sure that's going to do it at the rate she's falling. It did pay for two pair of glasses and Jim let her pick both out. She decided on one bold pair for everyday and one more reserved pair for church and dress up days. So here she is in her new glasses. See if you can tell which pair is which.

I'm assuming that the black frames are the bold pair. I personally think the wire rim glasses should be the primary pair worn. They look really good on her.
She looks beautiful in both! She's inspired me to get a "bold" pair this year!
