Pinewood Derby

Last night was the Pinewood Derby at Brandon's school. He had once again entered a car that he and Jim worked on. Well, even though the car didn't do so well in the race, Brandon won 4th place for "Most Inventive". He was so excited to win a trophy. Later today he will get his certificate, ribbons and patch, but he got the trophy last night.

This is his "Spidie Racing Car". It's great to think that he really did a lot of work on the car this year. He did the sanding and painting. He added the numbers and the tail wing (while no one was watching). He also came up with the idea to put the straws on the sides like engine pipes.
